Jonas Ranstam, BSc, PhD, is a former professor of medical statistics at Lund University, Sweden, a frequent reviewer of study protocols, statistical analysis plans, research reports, and grant applications; a member of the International Statistical Institute, and the International Society for Clinical Biostatistics; and an internationally active independent statistical consultant with extensive experience from medical and public health research.
